Welcome to bloop & Kink! We’re so glad you’re here. By placing an order, browsing our website, or commissioning a custom piece, you’re agreeing to the following terms The terms “we”, “us” and “our” refer to Bloop and Kink. Bloop and Kink operates this store and website, including all related information, content, features, tools, products and services in order to provide you, the customer, with a curated shopping experience (the “Services”). Bloop and Kink is powered by Shopify, which enables us to provide the Services to you.
The below terms and conditions, together with any policies referenced herein (these “Terms of Service” or “Terms”) describe your rights and responsibilities when you use the Services.
Please read these Terms of Service carefully, as they include important information about your legal rights and cover areas such as warranty disclaimers and limitations of liability.
By visiting, interacting with or using our Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these Terms of Service or Privacy Policy, you should not use or access our Services. 

1. Handmade Nature

All products are made by hand in our studio. That means no two rugs will ever be identical. Slight variations in shape, color, texture, or stitchiness are totally normal (and totally part of the charm).

We do our best to show our products accurately on our website. However, colors may appear differently depending on your screen settings. We can’t guarantee that what you see on your device is a perfect match to what arrives.

Descriptions, prices, and availability of products may change at any time without notice. We reserve the right to limit or discontinue products and services as needed.

2.Orders & Custom Orders

Placing an order is an offer to purchase. Orders are not final until we confirm acceptance. We may decline or cancel any order for any reason. If this happens, we'll try to contact you using the info provided at checkout.

Custom rugs are made just for you — which means:

  • We can’t offer returns, refunds, or changes once production has begun.

  • Please review and approve your design details carefully before we start.

  • If you ghost us mid-design process for 30+ days, we may mark the order as closed (ghosting hurts, okay?).

  • require full payment before production begins

  • Your purchase is for personal use only (no reselling, please).

3. Access and Account


By agreeing to these Terms of Service, you represent that you are at least the age of majority in your state or province of residence, and you have given us your consent to allow any of your minor dependents to use the Services on devices you own, purchase or manage.
To use the Services, including accessing or browsing our online stores or purchasing any of the products or services we offer, you may be asked to provide certain information, such as your email address, billing, payment, and shipping information. You represent and warrant that all the information you provide in our stores is correct, current and complete and that you have all rights necessary to provide this information.
You are solely responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and for all of your account activity. You may not transfer, sell, assign, or license your account to any other person.

4. Payment, Prices and Billing

We accept payments securely via our site. For custom pieces, full payment is due before production begins unless we’ve agreed otherwise in writing. Prices are in CAD and may change without notice. Prices do not include shipping, taxes, or customs fees unless otherwise stated

You agree to provide accurate billing and contact info. By submitting payment, you confirm that you’re authorized to use the payment method and agree to pay the total, including all applicable fees.

5. Shipping & Delivery

We ship from Canada via trusted carriers (Canada Post, USPS, UPS, etc.). Delivery timelines vary depending on your location, but we’ll provide tracking when your rug heads out when possible.

We are not responsible for delays, lost packages, or customs charges, but we will do our best to help track things down if something goes awry.

6. Returns & Refunds

Because of the handmade and made-to-order nature of our work, all sales are final.
That said — if your rug arrives damaged or the wrong item shows up (yikes!), please email us at shop@bloopandkink.com within 7 days of delivery. We promise we’re nice.

7. Intellectual Property

All designs, images, logos, goblin creatures, and rug monsters are © bloop & Kink. Please don’t copy, reproduce, or sell our stuff without asking nicely (and getting permission in writing).

8. Stuff Happens

We reserve the right to update, change, or squiggle our terms at any time. If anything major changes, we’ll post it here. By continuing to use our site or place orders, you agree to the most recent version.

9. Shopify Relationship

Our store is powered by Shopify. Shopify is not responsible for your purchases from us. We are. You release Shopify from any issues related to your transactions with bloop & Kink.

10. Privacy

Your personal information is protected by our [Privacy Policy] and Shopify’s privacy policy. By using our Services, you agree to those policies.

11. Feedback

If you submit feedback (ideas, suggestions, reviews), we may use it for any purpose, with no obligation to you. You must have the rights to the content you submit.

11. Errors & Inaccuracies

Sometimes we mess up. We reserve the right to fix any typos, errors, or inaccuracies on the site or in pricing, and to cancel or adjust orders as needed.

12. Prohibited Uses & Termination

You agree not to misuse our site. This includes hacking, stealing content, harassing others, or doing anything illegal or shady. We may terminate your access at any time if you violate these Terms.

We may end or suspend your access to our services at any time, especially if you break the rules. Certain parts of these Terms will still apply even after termination. 

If you misuse our site or violate these Terms, and it causes legal trouble, you agree to cover any costs or damages we incur.

13. Disclaimers

Our services and products are provided "as-is." We do not guarantee that everything will be perfect or uninterrupted. Use our products and site at your own risk.

14. Limitation of Liability

We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages. Basically, we’re not responsible for losses beyond the cost of your order.
